Oh how I miss those weekly Dharma gatherings at the NYC Shambhala Center. Great speakers, interesting people.
The Shambhala center here is overrun by lesbians who sit around together on pillows and watch Pema Chodrin videos.
My hope is wherever we live next has a decent Shambhala Center. The one in Milwaukee is good-where I got started.
Been watching art documentaries all week. Highly, highly recommend the Alice Neel one if you need a little push to get yourself working in the studio, oh and the Basquait one too. Exit Through the Gift Shop about Banksy and Mr. Brainwash will warp your mind. Audubon documentary, can be skipped.

This guy borrowed 300k so he could spend 12 hours a day for 10 years making one drawing.
No one wants it, but it’s a really interesting documentary about how he gets David Hockney to look at it.
